Summer isn't great for everyone

For many young families, summer is not about traveling, BBQs, or hitting the beach. It’s about struggling to feed their family, getting affordable childcare, and working extra shifts. With the children out of school, childcare costs increase, there are no school lunch meals, and the budget is struggling.
NH Gift-A-Meal cannot solve all the problems that families face during school vacations, but we can help by providing a grocery card to an organization that supports struggling families. Local organizations such as Family Services, churches, and other charitable groups receive donated gift cards from NH Gift-A-Meal. However, NH Gift-A-Meal can only provide those grocery cards when people donate. For every $50 donated, we provide a $50 grocery card to the community selected by the donor. We feel that local donations should go to local families.
In addition, NH Gift-A-Meal is creating a network of restaurants that are willing to accept meal donations. Each donated meal produces a meal card that will be distributed to the same organizations that receive the grocery cards. A meal card donated at a specific restaurant generates a meal card that can only be redeemed at that restaurant. The recipients can enjoy a free meal now while they are struggling, but later in life, when times get better, they may remember how great that meal was and return. By supporting this effort, you help provide a meal today and build goodwill for tomorrow.
